Well 2011 race season is now over in ohio for the most part. didnt really get half of i wanted to done this year but i figured i would make it out to the track at least once. This car has been a 2 year long project for me and with work it has been difficult to find time for it at all.
First pass was a roll out just to get a feel for the new set of slicks, yealded a 13.2 at 128 missing third gear. Second pass i again rolled out and drove the car like my grandma due to some issues in my trans, managed an 11.5 at 138. was pretty happy with the trap so i went for another. i decided to get the car out of the hole alittle harded and launched it with ALOT of clutch slip. if anybody saw my tcase explode at the shootout they would know why. with a nice easy 1.88 sixty on the drivetrain i felt good on the pass. then about the 1000 ft mark i blew a coupler and coasted through the traps on a 10.9 at 130

I attempted to fix it and it blew right off during the lauch next pass, so we called it quits for the day. after reviewing the logs the car was running on 30ish lbs with only 12 or so degrees of time at around 11.8 :1 on e98 Its deffenetly safe to say there is alot left to be had haha. this winters project will be drivetrain compents, a trip back to buschur with the trans, and a much more agressive tune. and much more to come at the track.
