eliminating ABS [Merged 8-8] removing removal deleting delete take off

Has anyone here removed there ABS system from there car? I want to get rid of mine for 1. it doesn't even work properly, 2. wieght reduction 3. puts me more in control of the car.

I need to know what all is involved what parts I will need for the swap and any other info that may be useful. Thanks agian

Got me confused here your swapping your calibers but only changing the rotors? Or are you also sapping your rare calibers and changing the fronts. Man im confused. Either way if both cylinder hold the same ammount of fluid dont have to swap them. Or if the old system holds more fluid then the new system you also wont have to swap them. For that matter as long as theres fluid in the lines and some in the clylinder I wouldnt worry just remember with a smaller cylinder the more the break wear down they will empty faster.

Sorry Let me try to clear it up,
I'm taking the Rear Calipers and Vented rotors from the '95 GSX Part car I have and installing them on my '98 GSX. I was stating that my fronts right now are already upgraded to the Baer 13" Track Kit.

I was wondering if the Non ABS Master Brake Cylinder was Different then the ABS Master Brake Cylinder And if it was going to affect my braking...

I'm not sure what the fluids have to do with anything?

They are the same only differance is one ports into the ABS modular. bigger calibers take more fluid to fill so the more you use the pads the quicker the fluid drops. Thats what I was getting to.

AHHH Makes sense now. Do I have to do anything with the Port for the ABS Modular? Or will one of the new lines reroute it back somewhere? Wondering if I need to cap it off or sumthing...

That port should be used as one of the break lines going to one of the wheels when you get the kit youll understand.
