Why does my manual transmission Talon have a eco pwr button? It came from the factory with a manual.

+1^^^ Yup. Someone swapped in an Auto console.

They probably did not swap the whole console, just the button itself. I have it on my MT and I am planning to make it do stuff.

power and eco button is number one. ive owned a mt and an auto and the eco button actually helps when you feel like driving around and dont feel like burning half a tank in a day you use the eco mode!

You do understand that the Power/Eco button is for automatic vehicles only, right? It alters the transmission's shift points for the two scenarios, Power and Economy.

There is no "making it work" in a vehicle with a manual transmission.

You could utilize that ECO/POWER SWITCH to switch between maps of a dual-image chip, which could render a similar sort of "ECO/PWR" for an M/T car. However, it would require more work than most would be willing to put forth.
