ECMlink ECMLink V3 Issues in Evo 8

Looking for a solution to this issue I'm having with my Evo 8 with V3 installed. Esentially whats happening is I'm having extreme difficulty with cranking. Tons of fuel gets dumped and often times it'll grind to a halt on when cranking over. Upon doing a little research, it seems the issue may be low battery voltage while cranking causing the ECU to reset which then throws a bunch of timming into it for a second, hence the grinding. Anyone know of or remember a solution for this ? Fairly new battery which holds a charge well, grounds in place. Anyone run into a similar issue before ? if so what was your fix
