ECMlink ECMLink v3 install

Hey guys, I just recieved my eprom ecu and ecmlink v3, I've been getting a little mixed instructions on installing it, ecmlink instruction pretty much say, install eprom ecu, wire in wideband, plug in and go, yet after searching I been reading that your supposed to switch plugs wires around and flip the CAS ect...what do I actually need to do to get going? It is on an 97 gst by the way, thanks for any help

You're not going to need to flip the CAS but you WILL need to swap plug wires like the website says.

correct...dont worry about wiring your w/b, just get the car going.

dont I need to wire the wideband to the ecu for logging?

Yea, you will. All you do is connect the white wire from the wideband to pin 75 on the ECU.

yes you do..you can connect it to the rear o2 senor, its a matter of prefence but my main concern would be to get the vehicle to be able to turn on first. then you can wire what ever sensors you want.

You have to swap your wires and make sure the cas inversion box is checked.

Do I splice it in or just snip the wire that is on pin75 and connect the white and leave the old one unconnected (I'm assuming I leave it unconnected as it would be for the stock rear o2) and thanx for all the help guys, especially gsxsixteen for the wire swap link
