ECMlink ECMlink V3 Disconnects!

Hey guys, I have searched and cannot find a similar case to mines. Just recently I purchased v3 full from someone on tuners. Installed it and it worked just fine. Recently it's been disconnecting, it happens everytime I stop streaming a log or if i decide to change some adjustment (ex. TPS) it disconnects. It will not connect again unless I exit the application, turn the ignition off and disconnect the usb cable. After I do all that and try to connect again, it connects just fine. If I don't do all that and just try to reconnect after it disconnects it says "no response received". Sometimes right before it disconnects it gives a message saying that port is already in use. This has been really annoying since i can't make any adjustments without it disconnecting. I know this may be confusing but any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure what's going on, but it sounds like it may be the way the computer is configured or the way link is setup to connect. I think you'll get better responses on the link forums.

Yea, that's what I'm thinking too but I have no idea as far as what to check. I already posted a thread on links' forums but so far nobody has responded.
