This is probably a stupid question, maybe even a wish.. But is there any possible way to find/download a saved tune file to work with my car so my car can be tuned the right way?

I have ecmlink v3

No 2 car's are alike. Chances are slim to none. You might be able to find someone with similar but in the end you have to tune the car for YOUR setup.

Damn, that sucks. I dont know how to tune the car myself and as of right now I dont have money to have it tuned. I will hopefully have my car running by next week and Im kind of afraid to drive it untuned.. :(

Whats your setup? There are "base maps" to get a good start on tuning the car, basically tweaking and peaking until its tailored for your setup.

Remember, advice is free on Link and here, so if you need help tuning post a log and ask questions. You better do some research and learn what you're doing with ECMLink though, watch the videos if you haven't yet...

Ok cool thanks for the advise.. Any links or anything would be appricated, I dont want to take the chance of trashing anything due to not being tuned. I have had this car since thanksgiving and only drove it 2 times:cry:

When I tune other people's cars (or help them), I always start off by throwing in the Evo 8 mod1 timing and fuel tables. This is usually a great place to start.

Make sure to watch all the videos Corey linked to, especially #8 as it will help you get your idle dialed in. Then poke around on the wiki to explore all the functions and features of v3.

Once you think you have the basics down, you can post up a log on here or the link forums and ask for advice and opinions.
