looks pretty much looks like the Tial wastegate, am i wrong? so is it worth it?

Ive heard of them working, but then ive even seen them not work so it depends.


My freind has a GT30 on his WRX and it would leak like crazy, and wouldnt hold boost.


Just buy a used tial there forsale all the time...

It definitely looks like a knockoff, and you get what you pay for.... Always remember that... We all learn that the hard way haha....

Sometimes the cheapest ends up being the most expensive.
I would say hold off and save up till you have enough for the real deal.

Buy a real tial, turbonetics, ect. I also went down the ebay route and got a few good parts, but when it comes to turbos, wastegates, bov, ect. you got to go with good quality. Like it was said before you ll end up spending more in the end.

I agree with ^^.. When it comes to parts that are important to making your engine run correctly... Dont go cheap..

I had both a godspeed 38mm and a ssac 38mm and neither of them worked at all. They both leaked no matter what I did to them. I can't speak for all of them but if I had it to do over, I would splurge for something proven. It's money well spent from my experiences.

Ebay ftl! As stated above, don't go cheap. I'm personally going to be running a Turbonetics Evolution 38mm wastegate on my new setup. I found it on CI Motorsports. Check it out and see what you think. There's also Tial, GReddy, and HKS wastegates too. Good luck on your buy and remember, its your car, your setup, so enjoy it.

Well ive seen a lot of products on ebay, as parts for my car could harm my car no, i would just buy the real stuff for my car. Thats just me, i dont see too many people using certain ebay products.

I dont know, about that tial is tial, its the real deal, i wouldnt buy parts to make a well trusted item something its not. But thats just me. Why dont you just wait and get the real part, thats what i did all these years, bit by bit. It took time but im glad i got the good parts rather than backtrack and have to do it again. ive come back to do things but i never skimmped. my car, my life, and others may depend on it when something could go terribly wrong.

You have two options which will yield 3 results.

1. You buy a real TIAL
2. You can be cheap, and your ebay wg will work or not work. If it doesn't, the worst case scenario is it does not hold boost... or it doesn't open and you blow your motor

What's $200? Your going to spend it anyway. If you are on a budget... keep the internal wastegate

A wastegate is a simple design. It operates on the principle of air pressure. As long as it holds pressure I do not see why it's any better or any worst. Go with the ebay wg and replace the diaphragm. People have ran ebay greddy bov knockoffs to full effect by changing the diaphragm. The same should work in wgs.
