(New?) Ebay Recirculated 38mm Wastegate 02 housing

I can't believe I'm even doing this but...

Anyone have experience with this 02 housing in particular?

If you have experience with it how long has it lasted? Any problems installing etc.

Don't laugh at me for this but I'm debating whether it's really worth it to get a punishment racing one vs this. I know the PR one is insane quality but the 02 housing doesn't see nearly as much stress as a manifold or something. FWIW It will be mated to a FP 71HTA.

Anyways let me know. Don't post your opinion if you have not had experience please!

I love my Punishment Racing O2. I recently upgraded to a STM open dump since I didn't need the recirc. I've only seen one other person around my home town run an eBay one like that. He had no issues, but your mileage may very.

If you have the money buy the PR one to show some support/peace of mind.

I do have one of those! PR it was just to expensive plus I'm using a 16g son not stress as you mention. So far so good perfect fit came with gaskets and bolts welds look decent still I did polish the inside a bit.
Only issue a had was that I had to delete the A.C. fan in order to make it fit.

Would a slim fan fit? Can you post a photo looking down into it? I need my A/C haha.

I don't have a picture right now, I have a fan shroud so no, my slim fan didn't fit but with no shroud I'm 100% it would fit.
I'm still thinking what to do cause I need my A.C. as well

Was it the top of the wastegate that was hitting? What wastegate are you using?

You wouldn't have a fan with the pr one either, would have to switch to a pusher fan.

Yes, the top of the wastegate touches the fan it's a Tial 38mm it won't clear for just half an inch or less.

Does it clear all other components? Too bad it isn't a VBand flange as the Tial MVS is an inch shorter than the F38

What if you used a smaller wastegate? The Turbosmart Ultragate 38 is nearly an inch shorter than the Tial F38

Except from that is a perfect fit! And yes if you get a shorter wastegate it will clear for sure.

Here is a pic! No stock fan won't fit either you either go slim fan or no fan even with a sorter wastegate. If you get one don't forget to put your o2 sensor first before bolt on the housing ask me how I know .
