ebay radiator hose kit?

Interesting as I was getting samco to make these as a kit, just wonder how these perform

Looks pretty. At least the kit does not have the crap clamps that come with cx racing intercooler pipes. The ones with the bolt that feels like it just keeps on going...

I bought that RTM one after some one here recommended it. It was the only one I saw that had all the custom hoses.

I'm going to install an all new cooling system at the same time. Water pump, radiator, hoses, thermostat, radiator cap, clamps. Is there anything I'm missing?


The RTM one looks better in person than in the photo, just FYI. It looks sorta like the ebay one but without the labels.

I'm getting the T clamps for mine. The serpentine clamps, cheap clamps, whatever they are, don't close uniformly, and eat into hose at each tooth, unless you have supreme quality silicone.

I would have trouble trusting the ebay one. They are both reinforced -- with what, I don't know, but you can see the 3 layers, or whatever it is.

Rubber would be far better performers, I think, but I figured that would be more expensive and there would be a lot of part number gathering to do.

Yeah, but I have a strong suspicion the two kits are made in the same place with the same manufacturer.


I think one of them just has the little logo stamps on them. If you see the RTM kit in person, it looks identical. I can't really see any differences.

How many hose factories are making the entire custom hose kit? I'd say very few. So the chances of them looking identical are really slim.

Flush your heater core out, while you have everything apart. Might as well do the block as well.

I know this is an old thread, but I blew a heater line the other day, and want to replace all lines. I wanted to know if these ebay kits will fit my 1g n/a automatic laser. I know they are for turbo cars, and I've seen some that specify manual transmission. Thanks!
