Radiator Hose Break?

after buying a a 90 GSX, and 80mile home drive, i went around the block a few times building boost, after i parked it and i walked about the RAD line blew and leaked all my coolant over the whole engine bay smoking everywhere. the only damage that i know of so far is the radiotor nipple is broken off.

IS there a reason why this happened? or just bc it was hot? and how do i know after i put a new RAD in its not gonna do it again?

When you say nipple, are you talking about the overflow nipple or the actual radiator neck?

i think i found my problem, i took the thermostat off and found that there was NO thermastat in there. so i put a used RAD in there from my parts car and getting a thermostat tmrrw, ill let you know if it happens again
