I have switched to E85 and, of course, ran out of fuel. I did the research and seen that on a 1g you can just add another pump and a Y fitting. I can not seem to find the link (at work) but I will try to update latter.

Anyway this thread is in reference to the Y fitting. All metal Y fittings that I have located are at least 35 bucks shipped. WTF I called up U.S. Plastics and told them what I was looking for (3/8 barb Y fitting). They gave me the part number 64473. Search Results | U.S. Plastic Corp. The PVDF is very chemical resistant. It is compatible with both ethanol and gasoline so it will not corrode. These fittings are a mere 5 bucks. :sneaky: I am going to order some of these tomorrow and install my duals Thursday. Let me know what you think about the plastic Y and this idea. :aha: In return I will answer any questions and keep you posted on this PVDF plastic Y. :thumb:

If I were you I'd switch over to braided stainless/pro classic or pushlock hose when switching to ethanol. Depending on your goals you will more than likely run out of fuel down the road on the stock lines. I'm running dual walbros to -6 bulkheads with 3' of -6 lead to a Magnafuel-6 x -8 y block, with -8 running to the rail.

Also, if you need instructions on how to fab and install the dual walbro setup PM me. I'd be glad to help.

Enjoy that extra fuel, e85 is addicting

You are telling me:p I just spent 500bucks on some Bluemax's and another 255.OMG ROFL

Very interested and open to opinions. I will shoot you a pm.

Diambo, I like your setup. If I didn't have an extra 255 on the shelf to add to what I already have in the tank I would go with your design.

To the OP, I found what we need to do the homemade double pumper. Either of these should do it:

5/16" Barbed Brass Hose Y-Connectors

I'm not a fan of the plastic fitting idea...even if they say it will work. It might very well, but I'd like to have the piece of mind of using a metal fitting instead of going down the road wondering if the plastic fitting I used is going to hold up. That's just me though.
