So I'm installing my Full blown Dual Walboro hanger and have ran into two issues. 1) it seems that the hanger is too tall (but I can't tell for sure) cause I had to apply pressure in order get the hanger to go down onto the tank enough where I had could get the nuts on and 2) the AN fitting does not screw down all the way. Why? I have no idea. There are threads all the way down. And the there is about 1/4" left to screw down. This causes the 90 AN fittings to stick up too tall and I can't get the cover plate on. At this point, I am applying so much pressure to tighten it all the way down, I'm afraid it will snap.

Anyone else have this problem or any clues why this is happening?!?

OK, so I pulled the hanger and confirmed that one of the pumps was touching the bottom. I adjusted the pump and it sat down easier. It went down MAYBE 1/16"-1/8". I still have need the push the fitting all the way down.

Anyone?

I dont know about those top fittings there man, especially the the push lock one. The whole setup on top of the pump is just too tall. Im not sure if the threads in the cover are npt or not but maybe go with one of these fittings here:

Thats the only thing I can think of that can cause your problem, because I see you bolted the thing down, right? So all thats left would be above the tank....

It isn't a surprise at all that the cover doesn't fit. That is an aftermarket part. A lot of times it will require you to make modifications. If it doesn't fit than i would make a custom cover for it.

Thats not it at all. The fitting is pointing pretty much directly at the trunk floor in the second pic so the hose definitely isnt going to go on. He needs shorter fittings.

Yes, the fuel level floater fits fine. The issue is the push lock fitting itself. It's much taller than the 90 degree ones that I have for my Aeromotive. I tried pulling the one of my fuel rail and it fit fine. So the solution is to take a 90 degree female/female fitting and the straight push lock fitting and use that on the return line on the tank. And take the 90 degree swivel pushlock fitting (that was on the tanks return line) and use that on the Aeromotive AFPR.

The difference is the curved 90 degree vs the sharp 90 degree. I ordered 20 more 90 degree sharp fittings. Since I now have a plan, I finished the trunk.
