I just installed an epromed ecm in my 97 gsx and need some basic tuning knowledge to know what is right and what needs adjusted.

Do you even have any mods? There are none in your profile. If you are all stock and just installed a eprom ecu then you can't really do anything. You have to install bolt on parts, and buy a tuning source of some type dsmlink, safc ect. You should really read into the tech guide on here and upgrade paths before you post something like this. No one can help you if your profile is not upto date and you have nothing to tune with.

Installing an EPROM ECU won't give you any tuning or performance benefits... It'd behave just like any other ECU. Getting link or a chip for your ECU is what gives you a tune. If you're stock, leave it be. You don't have to worry about tuning for now.

Ya I have watched all the videos just trying to get a better grasp on what the logged graphs should look like and how to properly adjust them. Thanks for the links.
