Well guess I'll start and explain alittle history of my dsm. I got the car from a friend who was second owner. I have owned it for about 13 years. I used to race at great lakes dragaway until I moved to Kauai. Since having the car so long I couldn't see selling it or buying another out here, plus the car had been so good to me. So the wife and I took the journey from Chicago to L.A. to but the car on a boat to Kauai. Since then I've joined the garden island racing association, and have been racing it monthly for about 2 seasons now. Currently it is down for repairs, and a new fmic install. Planning to have it back on the road for our final races of this season. I've been making progress got into the 12's making 3 good passes. This is still on the supra smic, 550's, Hahn s16g, walbro 255, Afpr, and v3 lite. I just got a vibrant performance fmic from a friend on island, who had a nice 1g awd. Also my thrust bearing has failed in turbo so that's out for a rebuild. I'm hoping to see mid 12's next race. But I really need to get some 850 injectors because my 550's are running out of juice. Anyway will write again tomorrow and post my install pics and alittle how to. The idea for the fmic placement is to allow air to flow underneath and make its way to radiator. I still have the stock plastic duct on bottom of bumper to help the air travel straight in. Also by removing the crash beam and running the ic pipes in that location, will allow me to keep my fog lights Anyway more updates tomorrow. Kk shootz
