2G DSM 3D models

I want to try and create some parts for my 2g. Mine is mostly stock in great condition, so I can use parts to create some 3d models.
If someone wanna help or already has a 3d model for a part that someone will need, it will be great to make a big drive with all of them.

I have a 3D model of the engine block, not that it probably helps with creating parts.

Left window trim with cover. It's 100% accurate.

If someone has other 3d files for other plastic trims, we can build a thread with them.

I think the mirror covers are a great idea. I suggested someone make these years ago. They're all too brittle and it's hard to find ones intact. There may not be a huge market for them but interior completionists could appreciate it if you're able to replicate the color & texture.

That texture you can achieve just from plastic injection molding. The 3D printed, you can polish , add primer and color, and it’s all good.

do someone tried to model other 3D elements? It would be nice to have them grouped on a thread and available to the community.

There's a gentleman on eBay who sells 3d printed mirror covers already. I just bought a set from him.

Yeah, but it's hard to replicate the OEM texture

That s the final result. .008 detail with carbon fiber based filament.
