I'm doing a timing belt and clutch on my car and i was wondering dropping the sub frame is a realistic way to change the clutch and timing belt(along with other varies parts). From looking at the car it seems this might be the easiest way to change them both at the same time...
 
You don't need to drop the subframe. If you did there wouldn't be any mounts holding the engine up, so it wouldn't even work
