I'm wanting to put a set of drag radials on my stock GST wheels which are 6" wide. I've heard a lot of people complaining that the 225's are a bit big for the stock wheel. But with drag radials the smallest that BFG or MT make's is a 255 for a 16" wheel. Some have said it will work, some say it wont work. What do you guys think? Would a 255 DR work on the stock wheels?

lots of people run that size tire on the stock wheels but i would sigguest getting a wider wheel when running the stock wheel you are changing the shape that is on the gound around the edges because the wheel is to narrow. Good luck.

See right nwo I have a set of Enkei 17's for my daily wheels but just have the stockers laying around... Could I put two DR's on the rear's and then rotate them when I get to the track to keep from wearing them down from the daily driving?
