I have an hour looking for a picture of some 17x9 wheels mounted on some 245/45r17, i need to see how how they look on the rim, just this particular tire "NT555r drag radial".

help me out please, doesn't matter hat car is it or what wheel.

English Racing, like myself, run M&H Racemaster Street/Strip DOT slicks in 235/60-15 on their HTA68 car. According to M&H's website, they are 25.4" diameter. Lucas runs Motegi Traklites 15x6.5 and I run Drag DR-17s 15x7.

M&H Racemaster Street/Strip DOT 235/60-15

I would never run a drag radial, personally. The sidewalls are typically way too stiff and you're just asking for broken drivetrain parts. You'll have to be really careful. ER and myself have both run consistant 1.4x 60's (ER has run multiple 1.3x) using the above tires, which are DOT legal bias-ply slicks.

I know that isn't what you asked, but I thought I'd just give you my personal experiences and advice. :thumb:

Thank you for the info, i'm gonna run NT05 255 since i want to meet my goal on street tires, i was considering drag radials but wasn't sure, i know they are kinda stiff so i was looking at the Hoosier drs since i found out the are more flexible on the sidewall, but first im gonna get DSS axles on all for corner then ill get the hoosier, my goal is 10.5 or 134mph on street tires so i'm working on that, i'm highly considering the tires you are running now. Thanks for the info.

Like i said previous 60'ft was 1.69, not so bad on NT05 235/40r17 so ill get the nto5 255/40r17 not because they will give me a better 60ft but to help avoid 5th. I know those tires are more of a turn tire but i love to drive on the street with them.

Excellent. But I needed to be sure that you were avoiding fifth and not just vegging out. Carry on. But I'd still go with the smallest wheel that clears the brakes, for all of the usual reasons.

Got it. :thumb:

Let me reword my post. "You most likely won't find anyone with a pic with that wheel/tire combo is all I am saying." No one really runs that so my best bet to you was to go see can fit that tire on a a wheel and see how it looks and fits is all. Happy hunting!:thumb:

Yeah i figured that ,but i though i had to be someone. LOL

For the record, I have Nitto NT555R drag radials on 17x9 Kosei wheels.

So... there you have it.

Here's a tire calculator that will compare sizes. Diameter, circumference, width, etc.

Why is everyday posting this stuff, increasing post count? If you dont have time to read the thread then I would not need help from you.

Thank you, do you have more pictures? I want to see how the little strech of the tire looks like
By side.

Sure.

There's really no "stretch" to speak of. The tires are actually probably about an 1/8" out from the wheel rim.

You really run 15's mrbox? Not to go off topic those some meaty tires.

Yeah. I don't like to drive fast. Check my mod list to see why.

Thats a pretty big list, just find it hard to run 15 seconds, unless you don't wot.

Look at his 60 foot time...

What about it? Not being rude just I had better times with my 14b stock on my 2g fwd. Just cerious he must drive slow xD. And I am totally not trying to be rude. Just can't imagin it being that slow period.

OP have you looked into any of the Toyo drag radial line they make a sexy tire and are super quality, not saying anything about Nittos considering I have ran both and both are a phenominal tire. Just trying to broaden your selection of quality tires.:thumb:

The Proxes QT's are a nasty road legal drag radial. I'll be running the R888's though with my next wheel purchase.
