i searched drag radial in the search key here on tuners and most all of everything was for FWD. i plan on making some good power and was trying to decide on a drag radial for my 17x7 wheels.

suspension includes:
koni red shocks
eibach sportline springs

BFG t/a drag radials are all that i know of what else is a good tire to use. looking for some imput more of less.

thanks

What do you think "good power" is. My friend ran 10.96 on junkyard mixed tires. I mean he would have gone faster if he had better tires but they are not required for most peoples goals. Mickey thompsom et streets are good ones. They are better than the bfg's.

well im building around 2.3l gt4202 soo that should give an idea for the power i plan on making.

Well i will tell you the bfg's do hook good but you have to heat them perfectly. To little and there is obviously not enough grip. To much and the rubber starts to bubble so there is little contact patch so you will spin again. My friend has a mustang he had bfg's and the et streets. He likes the et streets much better since he doesnt have to worry about how he heats them and they hook as good if not better on his car.

thats for the info, i'll check them out also

BFG T/A DRAG RADIAL
P225/45R17 00 B C
P275/40R17/LL 00 B C
P315/35R17/LL 00 B C
which size for 17x7 wheel

the nitto nt555r is a pretty good tire they hook like crazy and dont really need perfect heating conditons like bfg's. the nt101 are good to but they wear out way to fast.

thats good information right there! thanks i've really been thinkign nitto's over bfg the warming them up thing is kinda scaring me away from getting them. if i was FWD or RWD than i wouldnt have any problems, but not sure how i would be able to warm up tires in an AWD.

thanks again
