ok so im look for a good set of drag radials to go on a set of 15 in. racing rims....im pretty sure drag radials will be good for me...if not let me know...im still a noob so all ## input will be good...... thnnxxxx

have you upgraded to the "big brakes" on the front with the dual piston calipers? If so check to make sure the rims fit. When I first got my slicks for my car I took the rims to a friends AWD to see if the fit and they would not. So I am kind of stuck using the smaller brakes with single pisotn calipers. Which I dont mind since I am going to be running a 24.5" M&H and 13" weld racing rim next season.

But back on point. The BFGoods have a new tread design that have had good reviews. Please read this: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+T/A+Drag+Radial+2 . Now I am going to be running DRs on the street and slicks at the track since my car only gets 3,000 miles a year on it since it is a "fun only" car now. I am looking at M&H since their slicks are by far the best I have ran on. There is a good 12.4 second minivan (racing at 4200 ft elevation as well) that runs these from M&H and he seems to like them: http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stor...ryId=24783&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=36693 I am still reading up on reviews since my car is not going to run for a good 3 more months since the snow is out, so I have a bit of time to decide what I am gonig to do. But tire rack has review from people who have purchased them so maybe brouse their website and search for DRs and read up?

thnx for the info...the bfg's seem good for track n street driving....wouldnt i get the 235's i think since rim is 6.5..... ?

nitto nt555r are great i ran those on my gst and loved them. they are real sticky and dot approved :thumb:

I have personally ran the triple nickels and I still had hop like no other. Best run I could pull on those were a 13.78x. changing to slicks, so be it little side wall due to the rim/ slick size dropped my time to 12.991 on the next run. I still say BFs if looking for some DRs. Sorry I dont have a 555 to BFs test that I have personally done so I cant say.
