Do we have a comprehensive list of discontinued parts?

I'll be honest I couldn't find anything. All I found were posts for people looking for discontinued parts. This all started because I need a PCV hose and I'm a stickler for stock stuff. I'm 99% sure I remember it being discontinued. @DSSA you listening?
The more I think about the number of 4g63 that are likely still out there globally I'm have to admit I'm a little surprised we don't find more stuff. Does everything come out of japan? Even after all these years i'm not sure just how many different cars came with a 4g63 DOHC of any variant, not just turbo. I just remember grilling a vendor about a forklift repair because I knew more about the motor in it than he did.

I remember going through rockauto 20 years ago, picking and choosing which parts manufacturer I would like to use denso, delphi, aisin etc... now a days when I go on Rock I'll be happy to even see a part made by god knows who available for sale ... There was so many Mitsubishi, Hyundais and Chryslers using the same parts... everything is almost gone.

China was putting 4g63 engine up until 2015 in their Chinese manufactured car. I just believe they slightly modified the parts, but they will work. Now suspension parts and chassis is different

As a fellow 1G owner, I find it much easier to just assume everything is discontinued, and then I'm happily surprised when something is available! J/k. Sort of.

I had a helluva time finding metal 6 bolt intake manifold metal gaskets recently. Like I freaked out. NOBODY and I mean NOBODY has them. Got them from some Japan supplier. They had 6, I bought all 6.

I recall those neat aluminum fuse box covers that came in all colors being very common years ago, they no longer exist !!!!!!

I’m suprised 30 years later that we can find any parts. Technically they are al discontinued as no one is producing “new oem parts”
