420A Do the 420a motors have a power transistor

I have a 2g 95 w a 420a that has a no spark. I’m wondering do we have power transistors? If so where? I know the 4g’s have them.

There is no external transistor.
Check the connectors and pigtails for the ignition coil and the crankshaft position sensor. Usually those are problematic and must be swapped to the updated 2GB components ('97-'99). All of which can be purchased on RockAuto or at local parts stores, should you find them necessary.

Aside from those components you could have loose or broken grounds, damaged harness(es), or a failed ECU. Time to bring out a multimeter and/or test light.
