I am putting a 1g intake mani and tb on my 2g....I did not find a clear answer on whether or not I need to have the MDP sensor hooked up or not since there is no spot to put it on the 1g mani. Any input?
I am not worried about CEL's and I have the egr blocked.

In your case, you do not need a MDP sensor.

RRE talks a bit about the sensor here. Its purpose is to check the operation of the EGR. However, an adapter will save you from the CEL.

I havent had one on my car in years. If you dont mind the CEL then dont worry about connecting the MDP sensor.
