Well right now I have a 16g. Im looking for something bigger. I was thinking about a tdo6 20g. I want something that will bolt right in and use the same oil and water lines, just so its an easy install. Are there other turbos that will just bolt in instead of MHI turbos?

Only the mistu center section turbos will use the stock oil and water lines. But there are a lot of turbos that will just bolt on and then you'll have get different oil/water lines.

None will use the MHI turbo's oil supply / drain hardware aside from an 18G/20G.

Some will fit your exhaust manifold (DSM bolt-on), but I'm pretty sure the only other turbo that will use MHI coolant lines and banjo bolts are the Garrett GT turbos. Some journal bearing turbos use no coolant at all.

Im running around 22 psi. Im also getting some fp2 cams next month.

IF you want to move up go GREEN. I can get you one cheap( Buddy of mine is selling his rebuilt)

There's quite a bit more to get out of your 16g first. You havn't even run it with a cam upgrade yet. . .

I'd probably advise meth in this situation. I'm kind of in the same boat...I run a 16g around 22psi with 272's and I'm happy but there's always the want for more...but then again how much more does the 16g have in it above 22+psi I don't really know. Meth would be good in that when you did upgrade turbochargers you will have the ability to run into the upper 20's.

What type of ET/MPH have you wrung out of your 16G? I am pretty much in the same boat and my understanding is that with cams, you should be able to see about 115- 118 MPH traps out of it before it's got nothing left to give. That's upgrade time as it is a decent indicator that you can tune your setup to its full potential if that makes any sense. I am moving from a s16G to an E316G this week and will head to the track afterwards to see where I'm at. HTH, Todd.

I never ran it at the track with the 16g. I will ###### try to find a used 20g when I decide to upgrade then.
