Good replacement for HX35

How about an HY35? It has a smaller Hot side but the same cold side as a 7 blade HX35. Spools up quick for me!

Best ive done is 11.5 @ 125 should be in the low low 11s but spool kills my ET mainly in 1st and 2nd

The HY35 spools up for me at 3200-3800 rpm depending if my exhaust is open or not. I have a 3.5" electric cutout just before my cat. When the Cutout is open the HY35 spools up around 3200 and hits full boost a split second later. When I have the pipe closed it will spool slower around 3800 rpm. I try not to hit full boost with the Cutout closed so its not ruining my Turbo.
I run this setup because I have to pass emissions with the car. And I like the stealthy quietness of the stock exhaust.

Spool time will depend on your exhaust/intake setup somewhat.

Also, no divided housing for the HY35.

So basically as fast or faster than a 20g, with higher airflow potential. Selling my 20g . I'm seriously considering machining a Bolton housing for it since no one else will. Possibly an 8 cm FP housing
