diiference between fp 68hta and fp green xl

good day guys. im looking to get me an upgrade turbo while still keeping the stock manifold, and forced performance has both of these on sale including the manifold, so i was wondering if any of you has any experience with the 68hta and the fp green xl. im looking to get 300-350hp on my setup. thanks

DSM Green XL turbocharger for DSM this turbo is fitted with a 76HTA wheel rated at 59LB a minute, on the opposite end there's a high flowing 65MM turbine wheel, and stuffed into a free breathing 8CM turbine housing. The FP 68HTA is a Turbocharger for DSM Flanged Vehicle which out flows both the E316g and 18g wheels and allows for higher PR operation without increased compressor outlet temperatures like the existing 16g and 18g wheels. Mass flow is increased to a whopping 47lb/min which is several lb/min greater than either the E316g or the 18g wheels are capable. Rapid spool and large torque numbers are guaranteed by the TD05H turbine section. To maximize it's power potential this turbo comes standard with a 8CM turbine housing and 1bar waste gate actuator.

The 68HTA is a factory upgrade turbo with the same fitment as a 16G.

The Green XL isn't even in the same realm- it will be far-laggier, has a downfiring cover, and enough airflow for 450-500whp.

JusMx is the Guru for Turbo's. Just about anything he states or recommends is like Gospel ... From what I've learned so far judging by your horsepower goals a Big 16g would accomplish that or even an 18g if you don't mind the lag. Correct me if I'm wrong JusMx. I'm still learning myself.

I just installed an Fp red on my car and lag is not bad at all compared to the evo 3 16g it replaced. I would imagine the hta green xl would spool pretty quick!

thanks for the info,so if i go with the green xl, that will easily reach my goal of the 350hp range without putting too much stress on the turbo, because i thin on the FP page it says the hp for the hta is about the 350hp range, also my other concern is clearance, since my 2g engine is on a 4door 1995 mirage, right now the 16g i have in there barely clears the slim fan.

one more thing, i called extreme psi and they told me that they hvae a turbo that will bolt on to a 2g manifold with no mods, the pte 5558 turbo which is rated at 590hp, and comparng it to the FPs and the MHIs, this is way more economical, but i have read a few threads here saying that it is not entirely bolt on like what extreme psi says, so with that, what would you guys consider.? i am planning on having banishedmunk tune my car as soon as my dsm link arrives and i would stay at a conservatice 20psi boost for daily drive. im onsidering the 68hta, fp green xl, mhi e16g or the pte 5558. thanks for all the info

also about 4 eyars ago is when i last dynoed my car, its at 237whp and 228tq, after that what i have added and will add within the next couple of days is

from 560cc evo injectors to 720cc denso
from safc to dsm link
from stock cams to (used)2674/272 hks cams
from sucky xtd clutchkit from ebay to 2600 act clutch kit
also ofcourse just deciding on what turbo. and i was boosting 12-13 lbs on an ebay 16g when i had it dynoed. with these mods and raising to a 20lb boost, would i be able to achieve that daily driven 300-350hp with ease?
