Did a HID retro in Talon

That looks great. You move me to start my M3 retrofit. Are they moved as far forward as you could get them?

Yes, they are. I'll put up a daytime picture soon.

I hate not being able to see anything at night! :|

You will be BLOWN AWAY with the TSX projectors. I had the BMW E46 Bi-xenons as my first retrofit, with minimum results (yet satisfactory for a first). Let me know anytime. It's a very easy process... just expensive, that's all. But hey, if you come across a good deal on eBay or other members, then it's DEFINITELY worth it. No SilverStars can compare to this (and I've had SilverStars, too).

Wall shot and a daytime picture coming up in a few hours.

Same here, then I upgraded to the TL's. TSX's are the one's with the sharpest cut off but tl's have the most potential. Def. get some on road pics. When I get better pictures I want to compare ours. Also post a pic of your cut off against a wall.

Oh, the TLs.... *drool*

You've heard about the lense swap, right? The ZKW lenses do a crazy improvement to the TL projectors. I hope you haven't modded your projector...

For the rest of you who are thinking about HID retrofit... the Acura TL projctor w/ BMW ZKW lenses is (so far) the best, the optimum, the pinnacle of HID retrofit. Check out that link above. Whew!

Yeah, you already know! That's what I mentioned earlier, about the ZKW lens. I've seen the pics and man I know what my projectors can do. I did the stopper removal, but that's it. No shield cut or anything, I'm impressed with the results.. I'm selling my car though so it seems I did this retro. Are you interested in taking them off my hands? :coy:

Ha, for the right price, sure. Send me some pics. :0) There's a lot of people who are interested in my TSX setup, too.. :0) Maybe I can come out even.

i want to know if it can be donw on a 1gb also
i posted a thread under the newbie forum and havent really heard anything

I still need to fine-tune and adjust... but pretty good so far. :0)

Those pics are amazing. I would love to do that but I simply hate those ebay projector headlights. Is there anyway to do it with my stock headlights? probably not right.. nice job man ...

Here are pics of my "ricer" plug and play kit.

While the proper way is to defently do the retro fit, I have to admit the cut off on our halogen headlights are much much better then alot I have seen. Obviously since its not a direct cut off you will still see more oncoming glare compared to a true HID system but most of the bright light energy is focused so when adjusted properly like yours it won't be so bad & blinding others. It actually really bugs me how many ricers I see with these HID bulb only kits that have horrible cutoff &/or not aimed properly & blind me which seems to be a daily occurance now.

That's what I've been trying to say. Our lights aren't that bad and I've never had a complaint about the glare. To claim that doing a retro is the only way to do HIDs is wrong. Our stock lighting system sucks in rain and snow or just about any time. The HID upgrade, retro or bolt on, is safer for everyone.

Got some updated pics of the Acura TL retro. Really wasn't that hard to install once you research, but only negative side is that it's expensive. I'mprobably gonna sell these for rent one day but for now I'll show em off. Notice the gold and blue color band.

In the end I love these lights, their a real head turner. Especially when I pull up to my apt, where the roads are dark. The 2 color bands really show!

Pics of install?

Matter of fact I'm going to pry my headlights open tonight and tweak a few things, I'll try to remember to snap a pic of how it's mounted. Really not that hard, just takes time. Any other q's just ask.

Yeh, that's really pretty. But how are they for spotting 'dillos in the middle of nowhere at 75?

These projectors have an excellent light output, great width, and distance.
