I know there's a few threads with a simular issue, I'm currently running a big 16g, so far I'm not complaining about the power I'm getting out of it, but my ultimate power goal with my car, from what I read so far, I will not hit my hp goal.
I'm planning on replacing my turbo to get more air into the engine.I have a Holset HX35w and a MHI 20g TD06H that I need to rebuild also, but also weighing the option of buying FP's MHI 20g TD05H
My options I'm choosing:
1. Rebuild the HX35w, buy BEP DSM hotside and PR O2 and Tial WG
2. Rebuild the HX35w, buy T3 manifold and run internal Holset WG
3. Rebuild MHI TD06H 20g, buy T3 manifold
4. Rebuild MHI TD06H 20g, switch out turbine to a TD05H and run DSM hotside
5. Buy FP's TD05H 20g and run it

Anybody have any advice on a choice?

It'll be close. If you really want to get the max out of that turbo, use the factory 12cm housing and find a good twin-scroll T3 manifold or just run a BEP .70 housing and a single-scroll T3 manifold. You'll already be spending a decent amount on a BEP DSM housing and external gate setup.

i would add that you should go external wastegate if your budget allows. Much better wg control, which becomes increasingly important as hp goes up.

What would be a decent twin scroll T3 manifold with a single WG setup? I still want to retain my full size radiator if at all possible
I just found this T3 manifold on MAPerformances website,http://www.maperformance.com/erl-pe...ifold-for-dsm-t3-turbochargers-clearance.html ,ERL Performance T3 Manifold, has anybody used these before? I'm steering toward a JM fab or something like that, but the ERL caught my eye also

I'm still trying to weight my options also because I just installed a FP manifold on my car, that's why I was opting on the BEP dsm housing and the PR O2 housing, I'm not trying to cheap out on anything, just would like to know if any other people that went that route, what kind of numbers did they get out of it.
If I did go the BEP housing route, how efficient would the HX35 be? what rpm it would start to spool up?
