dash/console lights still not working

ok i replaced the rheostat and of course my dash and console lights still dont work, what the hell is the problem here!

check the fuse in the fuse box to the bottom left of the steering wheel. It is marked guages on the fuse map.

ive checked all my fuses a hundred million times but ill check again

the same thing happened to my car, i took it to a shop and it was a freyd wire under the left fuse box under the hood, thich caused everything to go out, 2 minute fix costed me 145 bucks , but check that and see if that works

Could the dash lights be burnt out? The dash fuse also is for the taillights, marker lights, license plate light, fog light, cruise. Do they all work? There is also a taillight relay in series with the fuse. Are you checking the fuses correctly - most people don't - you can't just look at them.

To test fuses:
By using a multimeter you can find a blown fuse where you don't necessarily have to remove each one. For the flat bladed type fuses there are 2 contacts on the top of each. Turn the ignition on (to energize more circuits) and with the multimeter set to read voltage and at least 12 volts, measure the voltage across each fuse. If any have any voltage at all, they are blown (since a fuse is supposed to be a short circuit). If no voltage, measure each fuse contact to ground. If there is the exact same non-zero voltage on each contact, that fuse is good. If both contacts read zero volts to ground, that fuse may be good or bad and you will have to remove it and check it's continuity separately.
