dash lights not working

my dash lights arent working and ive been searching forever trying to get a real answer as to why they arent

all my fuses are fine?? any other things i can check, all the gauges work minus the speedo, but the lights dont work at all for em

after a little more searching i found it could be my rheostat but i have no clue what or where that is

The rheostat is the dimmer switch (knob) for the dash lights and it could very easily be your problem.

im 90%^ sure that is my problem because i read a post from awhile back of a guy who had the same symptoms as me (center console and dash lights not working) and this fixed it for him
