For the first initial drive it was very nice and can only get better with some tuning. I took the towns best offramp and it gripped very well, I was impressed. I need to change the stiffness of the back shocks because with the sway bar the back end likes to come out a little too much, nothing a little counterstear cant solve. The suspension has nice reaction, no wheel hop, it's nice and stiff, driveability is great, no nose dive (yet, but maybe once I get my bigger brake kit,) overall I'm very pleased (and so is my bank account.)
PM me if you have any questions.

same here all but for the weard squeak that i get some times but that could be other things. it was 20 degress today and the shocks worked fine the car was a little bit more to handle in the snow but that might be the front mount intercooler too some.

Coldest it gets around here is mid 40's. So no squeak for me.
;)

well last night got down to 11 deg F and the shocks were fine the rest of the car creaked because of the cold but the shocks seem to work fine.

yeah folks, there was a batch that came bad a while back ago that made noise in the cold but that is no longer an issue. hell i have a customer in Alaska running these and we haven't head a single complaint.

You don't want the adjuster to raise compression and rebound both. When one goes up, the other needs to go down to control the spring.

When you run a stiffer spring, you don't need as much compression dampening. However, due to a stiffer spring wanting to spring back much harder, you need more rebound dampening.

If you crank up both, you'll have a shitty ride. The only time adjusting both is good is when they're seperately adjustable.

I just installed my D2s, can anyone explain to me how to adjust compression and rebound on these? The little brochure that comes with it doesnt help at all. Adjusting the shock on top and adjusting the ride height (do I really have to disconnect the suspension and screw the bottom of the shock and the ring up or down to adjust it every time?) I can do.

Installed my D2's on my 1g AWD a few days ago and they are awesome! I have only driven with them on the hardest setting and the ride was not that bad. I also installed poly bushings so my car felt like a new one. I would highly recommend the D2's to anyone looking to have good control on lowering their car.

One thing to note is the rear coilovers highest setting is still very low, probably 1.5-2" drop.

It sounds like you might still have the old lower shock bodies on the rear. They were too short and should be replaced. Get in contact with whoever you bought them from and see if you can get the swap.

I appreciate the info you gave me. because I do have the short lower shock bodies. I should be getting the new longer ones soon.

This is the exact question I have. I have ksport coilovers though. Anyone know?

You should scroll back up to post #4 and read the links, they give lots of details on adjustment.

As for adjusting the ride height, yes you do have to disconnect the suspension in the rear to adjust the height. The fronts are easier, you just need to to loosen the collor on the front shock fork.
