From what it looks like the actuator that moves the double runners in my Evo3 cyclone intake manifold is leaking boost pretty bad and I can't seem to get around having a big boost leak, I mean with 1 pound of boost on my BLT, it rushes out the bottom of the actuator thing. Is there any way to eliminate the double runners inside there and just cap off the vac line coming from the top of my intake mani? If a can not figure this out I was just going to go back to stock. Just checking my options first. Thanks!

EVO3's didnt have Cyclone manifolds

Thats a Galant VR4 mani

Just figured I'd pop in to inform you :)

Is it just the actuator going bad or are the seals on the butterfly valves for the second set of runners leaking? If it's an actuator issue, you should be able to replace it with an internal wastegate actuator, and then control the opening with an mbc if you want it to open later.

The actuator isn't supposed to see boost, only vacuum. To answer your question, to disable this feature you will have to tie actuator arm in the "open" position which will open all 8 runner and make the manifold perform as the normal 1g manifold would perform which means less torque down low and more flow up high in the rev range.

When I did a boost leak test it was rushing out of the actuator bottom so that means the actutor is bad maybe? And why would it be leaking air right there on a BLT if it is not made for boost since the boost goes right into that?

NO no no..Do you have a spare wastegate laying around? Use a t25,14b, 9g if your auto with stock turbo and such.. The trick is to get the runners to open at like 8 psi(t25 actuator). Causing a restriction in flow before 8psi and free flowing after that, thus spooling larger turbo's sooner..

I recently came into contact with cyclone manifold, and have beed serching ever since..Or You can get dsm link, or chip with the jdm mod for cyclone..Many things you can do to make this work.

This link is a thread about the cyclone manifold, and it has tons of other links and things to read..http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/bolt-tech/336621-cyclone-intake-manifold-reinstall.html

do you have the vacuum canister? It sounds like you dont if boost is seeing that actuator. There should be a little one way vacuum canister between the manifold vacuum source and actuator.

No I don't have a vac canister on that line so maybe that is my problem. Where could I pick one of those up at? Maybe a local auto parts store might?
