My car is a 10-11 sec car. Im guessing that is a single digit car??

I worked on it more tonight.. I got one runner completely done. OMG!!! is it hard to get into the collector. Seriously hanging that tungsten WAYYYY out there and using the side of it to start the puddle.

I put a new belt on my resurfacer today so this should be pretty easy to get flat again.

P.s... I know my welds look like shit LOL... I can weld stainless pretty well with 2 straight pieces. Welding tubing in crazy ass positions is unreal.

Those welds aren't bad bud, we're all our own worse crittics, especially when we post it online and can hear the flaming and bashing before the post has finished uploading LOL

I PM'ed ya some tips, but one thing i see is that you could stand to use less filler and break your beads up into smaller sections to keep the acumulated heat down (i try and keep a rule of not staying on one piece long enough for it to be able to glow red when i shut the torch off,may take longer but the results speak)

keep up the good work and keep postin pics!

Thats the way to work.... beer on the work bench!

LOL I work on this at my landlords hanger. He is a cool guy and has taught me a lot. We ran out of argon last night so hopefully we are getting it filled today. I seriously FLEW threw the argon and debating on how much I should flow through the tubes. I might turn the flow way down and work more on the sealing part of it. Regardless Paul need some valves cut and shipped out early today so he can get his DD going and I need to get the GSX done. SOOO I will update tonight and check through the thread as the day progresses.

Got 3 runners completely done and mostly done with the last. Its been hot as hell lately so its been tough.

Yup my little brother graduated and my Dad was staying at a hotel in S.H so I went and picked him up and cruised a little. I hope to have some weekend time to work on the car but all my weekends have been really busy lately for some reason.

Its done except for the waste gates. I have to take the manifold to Paul for him to plasma cut the waste gate holes.

My brother came out to keep me company and took some pictures

SO I think I can start mocking up everything. The waste gates won't get in the way of anything. Its been unmotivatingly(I just made that word up LOL) hot the past couple days so I hope it cools down.

For future info or for others.
Use a 1/4" hole to let gas escape. This is what we go by at my work.

looking good any plan for a velocity stack on the turbo inlet? Would there be any gains? I always wondered if it would improve preturbo flow

Looks like a fun project. Keep practicing welding, it takes awhile to get the hang of it. For a beginner, it doesn't look bad. Now that you are TIG welding, you won't want to MIG anymore. ;) I like how you have everything positioned so far. Its gonna be sweet when you are done.

So basic stuff today. I stripped a 12an fitting trying to take it off my line I cut to short so hopefully have that soon. I put the axles in and installed a ingalls front adjustable camber kit. I fixed a bad tie rod end.

Shootout is around the corner. Bumpers and skirts are getting painted right now. I am finishing up my turbo set up and then getting this car started. Then I will work on seat mounts and wiring.
