Tubed front end and ffm

A friend and i are looking to tube his 91 talon. what size tubing did you use for your main frame rails that the engine is mounted to?
 
Haven't had much time lately to get much done on the car. The front end is finished aside from brackets for the radiator and trans cooler. The manifold is finished as well.

Haven't had much time to work on it lately, but got the charge pipes done.

That is some good looking work. It takes confidence in your fabrication skills to start chopping up the car for something like that. Is this purely for the FFM and is the end of the tube work? Or are you going to go all out and do a tubular front and rear subframe also? I have been eye balling that front subframe cross member for a while now, thinking about how to get rid of it for a tubular solution... Sure would be nice. Plus, if you drop a wrench working on the back of the motor, it wouldn't get stuck there between the cross member and the firewall. I hate when that happens.

Is that the twin scroll 18.5cm housing? Looks big enough to be... I am assuming this is purely a drag car? I like that the exhaust stays divided all the way to the flange. :thumb:
