What do you mean why is the oil pressure not high? At idle? or normal driving? or at WOT?

at idle its a little above the low mark, while normal driving it will hangs at the "I" and the "L" on the oil mark,on the highway it doesn't move beyond the "I" and "L".. Its quite funny though because a couple of weeks ago while comming from work doing about 120mph the oil pressure shot up towards thehigh mark, that what make me think its the oil journals.

When you did the ballance shaft elim did you put the ballance shaft bearings in 180 degrees off so the the oil holes dont line up, because if you didnt the oil will just flow thru the hole thus causing low oil psi :dsm:

the mechanic that built my motor did. i droped the motor down and checked the bearings. both of them were 180 out.

so youm know for sure that the oil holes in the ballance shaft journals are not open because they have to be blocked by the part of the bearing where their is no oil hole :dsm:

during normal driving, it is around the "i" or the "l". but while idiling i get some sotra lifter tap, and yes i have revised lifters in, and the oil shaft bearings are 180 out. i just want to know would opening the the oil shaft holes cause this? if so i will try to put in another crank. i just dont want to go through this whole procedure with the same result..
