Cranks But NO spark or Fuel any ideas??

OK here goes another no start issue! I was at my job(AutoZone) listening to my radio with the key on on aux. After a few minutes i started the car (its a manual) and put it in reverse. In the middle of me backing up the car just stalled out without me letting off the clutch. When i tried starting it again it cranked but wouldnt turn over. I drove the car earlier that day fine with no issues at all so this was out the blue. I tried testing the battery and its fine (optima yellow) just replaced the starter 2months ago and the car has a strong crank so dont think its that. I just replaced the crank and cam sensors yesterday along with new coil plugs and wires which i know all work. I used a test light to check for current in the coil connecter and i have power and also checked the other two sensors and fuel connector. I have no spark and no buzzing from the pump nor is fuel reaching the plugs. I just replaced the pump today just to be safe but still nothing. Any idea what else would cause a no fuel/no spark issue? or could this be a timing issue?

Have you checked all the fuses and relays? Also have you checked timing yet?

I checked all the fuses they seemed to be good. Im not sure its timing since fuel isnt reaching the rail and the pump cutting on.

mpi relay it sounds like or maby ecu. this works on a 1g dont know about a 2g but you can try this .when you get in your turn your key on but dont try and start it you should hear a click. if not then the mpi relay is probably shot and not letting you get spark or fuel. on a 1g the mpi relay is under the stereo thats where the clicking should come from but like i said i dont know if a 2g is set up the same.

Ya check the mpi relay then sounds like it could be the culprit.

If you turn on the key does the CEL come on? Can you connect with a scanner? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you should test your crankshaft position sensor.

Ps. You don't need to bother with the MPI relay, because there isn't one. There is an ASD relay in the engine bay though.

crank should be good i just replaced it a day ago. No CEL on and i connected a scanner just to see if any codes were in the memory bank but it wont even communicate with the ecu

It doesn't communicate because your ECU is not turning on. It won't run without the ECU on either. Check fuses, and ASD relay.

Had a problem very similar to this with my 1g, No spark, No fuel, turned key to on and CEL didnt come on at all. Its supposed to come on for 5 seconds then turn off, my ECU was shot and half black from the capacitors leaking everywhere and making a mess. Thats what i would check next!
