i have a question for you guys if you mind helping me out. I have a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse gs that was running fine and well, when i replace the valve cover gasket and oil pan I made sure everything was okay by running it and it ran just fine. Couple days later the car will crank but won’t start. We’ve figured out there was no spark from the coil pack and we found out that one wire from the coil pack wasn’t getting voltage so we went to where the cable went which was the two relays one being auto stop and another one being fuel related. We then found out we didn’t get fuel which was odd. We tried crossing the relays to see if that would do it but as soon as we did the smoke came out of the wire and we fried the pcm. everything was done the was it was suppose to be done but we still don’t know what causes that or if there’s anyone with similar stories please let me know. Also if anyone knows a shop who works on older eclipses please dm me thanks!
