Hello everyone, I hope anyone that is seeing this can help with my problem.
Recently I had just got done rebuilding my 420a and I had a no spark issue and just got done fixing that. it ended up being a wiring issue “ there 3 connection that are the exact same smh, CPS, SPEED SENSOR, and the coil pack. I ended up resolving that issue and the moment I went to crank bam it stopped.
After coming to realize I had flooded the engine due to cranking it over and over again “should’ve disconnected injectors again smh” but after realizing I had flooded it, I proceeded to remove the plugs and and turn the engine, of course there was a bunch of fuel coming out the combustion chambers of all the cylinders and proceeded to leave it like that for a day or so.
After letting all the excess fuel evaporate I went to try to crank the engine and it every time the starter would just clink over
. At that point I realized I might fried the starter so the first idea after that was to replace the starter “not my brightest idea again” and of course the new one just did the same thing.
Can someone let me know what can be the problem, could it just be I burnt the starter relay, engine still spins over by hand fairly easy. Thanks everyone hopefully I can get this beauty of a DSM back on the road
