2G Coolant in oil

So I've been working on my car for a while now, and the first time it ever started the coolant mixed with the oil, so I pressure tested the cylinders and had low numbers so I changed the head gasket. Fast forward a bit and it's at the shop, they're almost done and they say that the coolant mixed with the oil again and that it's most likely a warped head. I take the head off, get it resurfaced and pressure tested, and put back on and everything hooked back up. Now today I go to the shop and go to start it up to pull it into the shop and we see that the coolant mixed with the oil again. Any ideas ? Debating whether I should pursue the problem and fix it or just sell the car. It's a 95 talon tsi with a 94 engine in it. 7 bolt. And yes I got new head bolts each time I took the head off and torqued them correctly

Yes, that's the oil cooler you have pictured.

Probably less likely to be a cracked block and more likely to be a cracked head.

Had the head pressure tested and resurfaced

Post up a picture of both the block with the head removed and a picture of the cylinder heads mating surface. Or are you still getting screwed by the same mechanic who for all you know isn't even doing any repair work

Idk about you but im only 18 and I dont have my own garage or tons of money to spend on 3 eclipses like you. Also, I have the only dsm guys in town helping me who know all there is to know about them. Not everybody is as experienced as you when it comes to cars, so you dont gotta act like in stupid or something just because I know less than you. I live somewhere that has one shop that works on cars older than 2005, and that's the one my car is at. The owner held the land speed record in the 60s or something for the quarter mile in a car he built, so in assuming he knows what he's talking about. Honestly im just gonna scrap the car and forget about this page since I get talked down to by you each time I post about something

It's not hard buddy. It seems like I'm giving you a hard time, it's because we've explained everything to you 3 times.

So the only answer we haven't given you is that the block is cracked or the turbo is bad or hooked up wrong

There's not many places you can leak coolant from, into the oil.

Seriously, get a cooling system pressure tester and pressurize the cooling system. Drop the oil pan and watch to see where it's leaking from

You keep saying the mechanic did this, mechanic did that, but this is first year mechanic stuff

Pressurize the system with the oil pan off, and valve cover offf and find the leak

age means nothing i put my first engine in a car at 16. take a deep breath n look at what other are saying. personally if i spen 4000 and still dont have a running car i would scrap the mechanic not the car.

Some of the diagnostic tools you need to test stuff you can rent for free. If you're on a budget scrap the mechanic. If you truly have no skills....well this may be a lot harder.

Call up your oreilleys and ask them for their coooling system pressure tester. It's a free rental tool.

Drop the oil pan and inspect up into the block

Pump up the pressure on the gauge to 13psi and listen for noise, inspect where the coolant is coming from

Hmm, I'm curious as to how this mechanic can't figure the problem out? There's only so many times you can replace a head gasket thinking that will fix the problem. Either the car has a bad headgasket, the oil cooler sandwich is cracked, the turbo center housing is cracked or the block is cracked. I can't think of anything else that would mix oil and coolant.
