just got my turbo in today and my compressor housing is bolted on to the rest of the dam thing to where it sticks up straight...it would be a lot easier if it were aimed down like the one in this picture.

how can i do that? thanks in advance :)

If you loosen all the bolts on the housing it should just spin around. What kind of turbo manifold is that?

If you post pics of the back of the compressor housing..Like starfish said it should be loosen the bolts and turn the housing..But do the bolts have to thread into the housing..I would not know I've never taken a compressor housing off before..

you loosen all of the ones that go directly to the compressor housing with the hold downs no the 4 center bolts. the center bolts bolt the compressor backing plate to the center section. if you loosen the silver perimeter bolts the compressor housing can be "Clocked" 360 degrees just retighten them whereever suits you needs..

Edit.. There is NO need to completely Remove ANY of the bolts. Just Loosen and Spin it is sealed with a very large O Ring you will not damage anything
