I have a 16g turbo and the bolt that tightens down the J pipe to the compressor housing has stripped out the compressor housing thread. I have not been able to boost above 16 psi for some time now? Could this be aiding this by causing a huge boost leak? Could I just buy a new tdo5 compressor housing to fix the problem of this being stripped out? I have not ran any boost leak tests yet, because I just discovered the problem like 5 min ago. Thanks for any help!

Buy a helicoil thread repair kit from Pepboys or Autozone. It'll fix that thing right up.
