Well guys I finally figured out whats wrong with my car, pulled the ECU and the caps were leaking all over it. I wish I would have looked at this earlier. So I'm looking for compatible model numbers to ECU's that will work with my FWD TSI turbo. Any advice would be great. Thanks :talon:

any 91-94 turbo ECU from a car with the same trans (manual/auto) will work.

and turbo ECU *will* work, but auto ECU's are set for 390cc injectors and crappier cams. I've still got the automatic ECU in my '93 with 450's and manual cams, it works, but I'm sure it's rich as ####ing hell.

*edit* Jesus christ dude you're complaining about not getting an answer in only 1 and a half hours. Patience man, patience.

LOL thanks man, I just figure with so many people looking someone would have the answer, I know some of you guys are DSM gods from reading hours and hours of your posts at work here in tech support :) So basically the FWD AWD part doesn't matter, the year isn't a problem finding, I just seem to find the AWD ones easier..AGAIN, thank you for your help and assistance.

i pulled my ecu just the other day and notice mad cap leakige too, my car isnt running right now so i bet i have more than ecu problems, but what problems was ur car seeing when ur ecu was messed up?

wierd random CEL's, then it started bucking really bad at 2k rpms and 0-1psi, then all of a sudden it would just pick up like nothing happend and full boost, its wierd, just random shit you couldn't figure out, you check sensors, and so forth, get plugs, wires, all the usual stuff and its still random freak shit...thats ECU problems LOL...
