Common boost leak areas

BOV flange
J-pipe gasket
Throttle body shaft seals
Lower injector seals
Intake manifold gaskets
Intercooler pipes/couplers
The intercooler itself

Those are the most common places for boost leaks that I've come across.
 
Common places would be:
TB gaskets
BISS Screw
TB Shaft Seals
turbo outlet gasket
Boost reference source
injector seals
loose clamp on coupler
leaking BOV (2g stock BOV is notorious for leaking)
Intake manifold gasket
anything that uses vacuum off the manifold could be leaking air out

It is important to do the test correctly, 40* BTDC, that way you can get an accurate result.

People always forget, back in the day, and some of us still use it, a smoke machine. Fill the entire charged air system and see where the smoke is leaking from. Its a lot easier thank using soapy water and tracking the leak down.

Also another side note, if you are using aluminum piping, be careful not to over tighten the t-bolt clamps, you can crush the pipe easily. By trying to seal a boost leak you can create one.
 
i know people have said it but it seams like my lower inj seals leak the most even when i change them so i saw lower inj seals are very common, and intake manifold gasket esp with an older car with stock gaskets
