so my next goal for my 2g gsx is to get really really good fitment. i want to get really low and flush. right now i have h&r springs and tokico blues, but im saving up for coilovers so i can get lower. but i just dont know what is a good brand to go with for my goals. performance is also really important to me too. so what do u guys think i should look into??

thanks

KW Variant 3 as stated already. The company builds some very nice parts and are used by the few people on this site who can afford them and demand their performance on the road course (gixxerdrew and his Time Attack car being one of them - see his Spyder in the site logo at the top). If you're on more of a budget and want a good setup, look into the DG setup. These setups will run you around $2k, or more.

Pretty much anything else will offer less performance, but also a cheaper cost.

This post as all sorts of win in it.

To the OP, It wont be cheap man.

what about the kw clubsports arent those an even better model?

They are a better coil over but, they are not designed for a daily driven street car like the V series. They are made for track cars that see very limited street use.

If you don't want to pay the price tag on the KW's and only need a DD/weekend warrior type suspension look into the D2 coilovers. They're an awesome street/track set that will run ~$850.

Arent d2 the exact same as ksports? How would they compare in performance to my current setup of h&rs and tokicos?

Split off vacuum hose from wastegate source and run a line to each strut. When in vacuum you'll get soft squishy suspension and in boost you'll have hard suspension. It's physics.

Pretty sure megan now has coilovers for 599$ for the 2g.

Ok so you get your run of the mill ebay coilovers vs an actual good quality coilover. I wasn't listing the cheapest, I was listing the best for the money.

No, they are actually designed differently. There's a nice comparison thread on club3g.com between megans, ksports, tiens, d2's, and one other brand. The D2's shine above all as far as quality, cost, and overall performance. I'm switching from my Tien SS on my 3g to the rally series D2's (which will also be going on all my dsms). They all see a solid amount of track time and are all DD's.

I bought and installed Megans a couple of years ago on my DD for $900.

I drive in NASA 2 track days a month for 6-7 months. I think they are excellent for the price.

They are rough on the street, but That's OK with me. The only problem I've had is the left tube sometimes unscrews a bit.
