coilovers ?

im looking to put coil overs in my car ... can i buy cheap ebay coilovers and them buy good kyb shocks ? or is there any coilover kits with struts for around $500 ? i want to keep the stock height through because i live in MN and it snows alot here haha ... but i want stiffer suspention to minimize the squat with acceleration

There are several coilover kits that you can go with at the very least you need ground controls and kyb's , I do not recommend the ebay coilovers as you are getting what you pay for and they are as cheap as they come. Look at k-sports, skunk 2, or ground controls. These all have different spring rates and installation should be pretty straight forward. With the k-sports you do not need new struts they are complete with pillow ball mounts. goodluck

While an adjustable strut/ground control coilover sleeve kit seems reasonable for your needs. Megan coilovers are where I'd put my money, while they're superior to your average strut/spring combo, they don't cost that much more.
