I'm in the process of getting an evo 3 intake manifold for my 1g 6bolt/2g head combo and wanted to know were you guys relocate your coil pack/transistor at,or should I get a evo III coil pack & transistor?Pics would help

I used the 2g bracket and drilled holes on the top of it and cut off the right side if you are looking at the with the coils facing you. I also use the 2 g transitor module I can't post pics from my phone but if you need pics pm me and I can email them to you.

Mine Is in the stock location. You can't really tell unless you look closely that it's not the original one. I actually go the idea cause I saw it on the lancer evolution intake mainfold thread.

uhh, pictures show it better than i can explain it :thumb:

Is that a fabbed up piece? Looks like its on your existing motor mount.

In that picture it was the stock coil pack bracket just bolted to the motor mount. It lasted for about a year before the stock coil mount broke so I fabbed up a new mount for it but it is still in the same place.

Installed. It's been about 6 months since I did that and it's still going strong. It's WAY more secure with the thicker arm and being held on by two bolts instead of one.

Deadlyscone looks good. It alsmost looks stock.

9!'clipseDOHC looks great. It comes in handy if you know how to weld. Im looking to take welding classes. I have to step up my game.

I never took any classes. I just always wanted to weld so one day a bought a 90 amp mig welder from Harbor Freight and had a friend that knew how to weld help me out and it went from there.
