hello i have a 95 talon tsi awd, my clutch is slipping bad the guy. i bought the car from said it still had the stock clutch. i heard that there only good to 250tq. when i start to hit about 5psi the rpms with jump high,so i let off the gas if i keep it under 0 on the boost gauge it good but 5psi in 1st-5th it will slip, so what i wanted to know will it be ok to get a stock clutch, from autozone or advance auto to i get my college money in march to get a stage 2.

If you are on a budget, an XTD stage 4 with an OEM TOB would be the way to go.

judging from ## mod list, u are mostly stock. I would go autozone or even f1racing on ebay for the time being. I know what its like to be on a budget but know that if u start putting down more power that an upgrade will be inevitable.

I had an ebay stage 3 clutch in my 1g for over 10k miles no issues pushing 16 psi.

thats my opinion, others will bash it but have never tried it.
I followed the 1k miles break in seeing no more than 5 psi of boost max. after that it was great.

Gripforce is the seller name on ebay if u wanna know

yea right now money is a lil tight bc of christmas and my lil 3yr old girl,i was just going to get one from auto zone or advance bc there like 89.99, i get more money from college in march and going to add more performance parts along with a stage 2 clutch, yea with the mods i have now i like to know, what the horse power is now before i go with more parts.

you could get a slightly used act on the classified adds for about 100+ and flywheel combo. worth a check since your not pushing it that hard. i think that would be your best bet :)

The F1 pressure plate is great. However I'd probably go with a XTD clutch or something cheap.

There are good and bad things said about ACT all the time. My personal experience with my 2100 was a spring failure due to the poor spring design.
