So I finally got my car back today after getting the new motor put in and what do you know, another freaking problem. We changed the tranny fluid from mt-90 to mitsubishi fluid(I got from Jacks) new master and slave both oem. Its a Jacks tranny and it shifted fine before the new parts. Seems the clutch pedal is weak and has to be pushed to the floor to get it into gear and the car stalls when I go to shift. Its picking up right off the floor. I checked the adjustment and its all the way out.

I'm placing money on it being a worn pedal assembly. I had the same issue and for weeks I tried everything. Then I got another pedal assembly from a salvage yard, had a buddy weld it (was also worn) and installed it. did not change anything else.

Still driving on it today.

Its not. Problem didn't exist before new master. If you ever do something to your car, then get a problem you don't start making things up chasing rabbits. Return to the last thing that was done before the problem showed up and go over every step that was taken. You will find the problem everytime.

I used to think this was the case. However I drove my car into the shop JUST FINE. Then after pulling engine and all, couldn't get it out. Clutch pedal assembly was bad. No symptoms prior.

Theres always a chance and Im not ruling it out, but it wasn't worn before the new parts. It was perfect. New parts and the problem showed up right off the bat. I could see if it was miles down the road and then it started to happen.

This is EXACTLY how it happened to me.

Well the bushing is in and the shop says the pedal feels better and has been bled, but it picking up very low. They said the slave seems to be getting good travel and the adjusting rod is all the way out. Anything else I should get them to check for on this while its still at the shop?

sounds like your having the same problem i am and its my pedal assembly being worn. I just ordered mine from shepard transmission its welded and has brass bushings.
