clutch pedal throw adjustment

the other day I borrowed a friends toyota pickup to go move some things, the truck is a 5 speed and while driving it I noticed that the clutch pedal throw was significantly shorter than mine and I could shift it much faster because it was so much shorter. now I know that these are two completely different vehicles but is there any way to lower the height of my pedal without messing up my clutch? I have driven a few standards in the past few years and my pedal sits way higher than all those other cars that i have driven.

if you mean the engagement point....look under you dash at your clutch pedal......it has a rod that connects to your clutch master cylinder.....there is where you can adjust it

no i know how to adjust the engagement point, im talking about how to lower the clutch pedal some. they sit so damn high compared to some of the other vehicles i have driven
